Settings - MMS


You will not be able to use Picture Messaging (MMS) if your iPhone 3G has not been upgraded to software version 3.0 or above.

All steps must be completed to ensure the settings are correctly configured.

Please ensure that when entering O2 into the settings that the letter O is selected and not a zero.

If you are a Pay Monthly customer on a iPhone tariff please enter the following,

  1. Tap Settings
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap Network
  4. Tap Cellular Data Network
  5. Scroll down and tap Reset Settings
  6. You will see the message Are you sure you want to reset all network related settings to their original values?
  7. Tap Reset

If you are a Pay Monthly customer on a none iPhone tariff please do the following,

  1. Tap Settings
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap Network
  4. Tap Cellular Data Network
  5. Scroll down and tap Reset Settings
  6. You will see the message Are you sure you want to reset all network related settings to their original values?
  7. Tap Reset
  8. In the Cellular Data area tap APN and change to mobile.o2.co.uk
  9. Tap Username and enter vertigo
  10. Tap Password and enter password
  11. Scroll to the MMS area and tap APN then enter wap.o2.co.uk
  12. Tap Username and enter vertigo
  13. Tap Password and enter password
  14. Check that MMSC is preset at http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
  15. Check that MMSC Proxy is preset at 193.113.200.195:8080
  16. Check that MMS Max message size is 307200
  17. Skip past MMSC UA Prof URL
